Repairs
Can my slider be repaired, or does it need replacing?
In most cases it can be repaired. If the frame and glass are fine, new rollers and an adjustment cost far less than a new door.
Why is my patio door so hard to move?
Sand in the track or worn rollers, often both. Clean the track first; still heavy afterward means new rollers.
What causes a rumbling or grinding sound?
Worn or rusted rollers that have stopped turning, letting the panel scrape the rail.
The panel came off the track. Should I put it back?
No. It’s heavy and can fall, and the rollers or rail are usually damaged. Keep clear and call us.
Do you repair screen doors on sliders?
Yes, including screen rollers, latches and rescreening, pet screen too.
Do you work on impact-rated sliding doors?
Yes. Impact panels are heavier, so we use rollers rated for the weight.
Which brands do you service?
Most aluminum and vinyl sliders found in Flagler County homes, from builder-grade to impact doors.

Do you charge to give a quote?

What might raise the price of my repair?
Impact or oversized glass, extra panels, a worn rail or special-order parts. We tell you before any work.
Do I have to pay before the work?
No. You pay once the door is working properly.
Which payments do you take?
We accept cash, check and all major cards.
How does your warranty work?
You’re covered by a 6-month warranty on parts and labor. If our repair fails, we come back free.
Palm Coast homes
Do you repair pool and lanai doors?
Yes, they’re most of our work here. Pool doors get heavy use and lots of moisture, so they wear faster.
Our home is a seasonal residence. Can you work while we’re away?
Yes. A neighbor, property manager or house-watcher can let us in, and we’ll send photos of the finished job.
Does living near the beach affect my sliders?
Yes. Sand and salt in the air wear rollers and seals faster, so we recommend stainless parts where possible.
Do you cover Grand Haven and Palm Coast Plantation?
Yes. We work in gated communities across Palm Coast; just add us to the gate list.
Which parts of Palm Coast do you serve?
All of it, including Palm Harbor, Pine Lakes, Matanzas Woods, Belle Terre, Indian Trails, Grand Haven, plus Flagler Beach, Bunnell, Hammock, Beverly Beach.
What should I check on my sliders after a storm?
Look for water inside, check that every panel still locks, and clear debris from the track. Call us if anything’s off.
Booking
How soon can you come to Palm Coast?
Usually within a few days, sometimes sooner. Call or text for the next opening.
How long will it take?
Most roller, lock and seal repairs take one to two hours. Glass may need a second trip.
Do I need to be present?
We need someone to open up and okay the quote. For seasonal homes, your manager or a neighbor can do that.
Should I text photos before you come?
Yes. A photo of the door bottom, the track or the lock helps us bring the right parts.
Can you phone me at a time I choose?
Yes. Pick a time in the call-back box and we’ll phone you then.
Care tips
How should I clean the sliding door track?
Vacuum out the sand, wipe the rail, let it dry, then add a light spray of dry silicone.
Is WD-40 okay for sliding doors?
Not really. Oily sprays trap sand. Dry silicone keeps things moving without attracting grit.
How often should I clean the track near the beach?
Every couple of weeks in summer, and after any storm.
How long should sliding door rollers last?
Often 10 to 15 years near the coast. Rust or a heavy feel means it’s time.
Can I fix a door that’s dragging?
Sometimes. Adjustment screws near the bottom corners raise the rollers. If they’re rusted or it doesn’t help, the rollers need replacing.
